Dear All,
I’ve reached a point where these blogs are becoming a bit of an effort. At the same time the system isn’t allowing me to load photos as I would wish. I’ve been battling to load New York Pt 2 and thinking, what’s the point?
I’ll still be tweeting about music and sport at @Jasthoughts and if you’d like to hook up on Facebook, just send me a friend invite. My email is john.sills@hotmail.co.uk.
Best wishes,
John

About John S
I'm blogging about the things I love: music, sport, culture, London, with some photos to illustrate aspects of our wonderful city. I’ve written a novel called “The Decision”, a futuristic political thriller, and first of a trilogy. I’m also the author of a book on music since the 1970s called “ I Was There - A Musical Journey” and a volume of poetry about youth, “Growin’ Up - Snapshots/ Fragments”. All available on Amazon and Kindle.
I hate to see you go, but I look forward to more tweets.
Thanks Rick. Will continue to follow your musings on the world!
At a personal and selfish level, this is not news I wanted to wake up to. Your posts were something that I looked forward to a lot. But I do understand where you’re coming from. Wish you the very best and I do hope you will come back here once in a while. I also look forward to the release of your book.
I’m not able to find you on FB – too many going by the name of John Sills. I will keep an eye out for your tweets.
Thanks for your support these last few years. I always said to myself that when writing the blogs became a bit of a chore I’d stop. The book is just about there. Next step finding a printer. Email me your address and I’ll send you a copy.
Sent you an email just now.
John, thanks for your note, and likewise, I’m sorry to see you go – I’ve long enjoyed your posts, and appreciate all the efforts that you have made to keep them coming.
I can of course see that they come with a pretty big commitment, and I’ve read enough 1.18 a.m. posts to know that you have had to fit them into a busy schedule. Hope you might change your mind one day, but I will quite understand it if you don’t. In the meantime, I guess we will just have to talk to each other?
Look forward to the book too, of course.
All the best
Jon

So Farewell TFW5
Were you related to TVC15?
Your blogs were great
Even if the predictions were usually wrong
And I’ll miss those bluebells.
The not-so-thin white duke has returned!
Aw, will miss you! See you on Twitter sometimes!
Too kind! I’ve had a change of heart.
“lol” so you are still blogging?
Yeah (he says sheepishly)
Oh yeah…. I want to read your book!
If you send me your address or a box number will post you one when it is printed. Not sure when that will be, but just doing an index at the moment and then I’m ready to roll!
Will email address!
