We were sitting waiting for a District Line train this evening and I had my camera with me. That’s all. The Church spire must be St Peter’s down by the A4 in Hammersmith. I say must because I would have thought we were looking directly south, but it must have been south west.

Ravenscourt Bore here. You were indeed looking south, and straight at Rivercourt Methodist church. Here (I hope) is another pic from a similar angle:

St. Peter’s is indeed to the south west, but is a much smaller church, and not visible from the Tube.
Told you I was boring.

Well thanks for Ravensboring. Good to get the facts right. Didn’t feel like it should be St Peter’s, but I couldn’t see anything due south on Google Maps – iPhone admittedly.
