The latest sculpture in the courtyard of the Royal Academy, “Spyre” by Ron Arad, moves about and films proceedings in the space. Part of the Summer Exhibition, which I went to see for the first time this evening, two days before it ends! Might pop in again and then write something.

Ron’s having a busy summer. A more ambitious installation is his CURTAIN CALL at the Roundhouse, which looks pretty amazing:

But is only there until August 29th. I think I’ll struggle to get there.

Looks interesting.
Well…. that’s unique!
Fascinating to watch.
Oh, and your book is unique. It’s slow reading for me, and I’m enjoying it. Lots of great info and insights. Two volumes would be better… for me. Then the print could be a bit bigger, and each volume would be smaller & lighter. Then I could carry it with me on the subway and such. … Just an idea!
Thanks for the feedback Resa. For the commercial version, which will be ready soon (I’m just doing an index by page number) I tried 11pt text instead of 10pt, but it adds over 100 pages and that would mean I had to charge more. Likewise two vols would be nice, but it would add to cost for the reader and break continuity.
