lovelondonscenes 161 – A Hammersmith Sunset

I’ve been meaning meaning to post this one for ages. In fact, since I took the photos towards the end of January this year. Not the first pictures I’ve taken of this part of the river; but it is perfect for that setting sun, as you look west.

Some of these images are not apparent to the human eye at the time; but when you point the camera on zoom into the heart of the sun you get some weird and wonderful results!

Fab. The fourth last is a stunner.

Ah, Hammersmith – that earthly paradise.

Probably five words that have never before sat together.

Lovely pictures, as ever. Agree with DC’s pick – but the textures in the penultimate one are gorgeous. If printed right, that could be a wonderful piece of abstract art.

Forgot to fill in my Dood details – AGAIN. I wonder if it will pick it up anyway? Let’s wait and see.

It was a very complimentary comment. Maybe WordPress screens those out?

Forgot to approve it! Not sure why you have to fill in details each time. Should just come through automatically if I’ve approved previously.
