I was walking along the river yesterday lunch time, heading for the Tate Modern. I liked this scene near Blackfriars railway bridge, of the City caught in a low cloud or mist. St Paul’s stands aloof.
In black and white.

It was a weird mist – if not quite as weird as that strange glowing mist/cloud bank we both saw last year (and when I was walking through the City).
The weather guy said yesterday’s cloud sat on London at a height 150 metres, or half the height of the Shard. Not surprising that some of the smaller skyscrapers are masked.
