Ealing Jazz festival, this afternoon. It’s been going for years, one of many in Walpole Park over the summer. I have great memories of family outings with friends, basking in the sun, catching a bit of music, enjoying a beer, … Continue reading

Family outing on the Grand Union Canal. Brentford way, last weekend. I missed the perfect shot, when the family were gliding along in single file, adults at front and back. But as soon as I stopped and fumbled for the … Continue reading

The Houses of Parliament from the other side of the river, on Albert Embankment. And the London Eye, from Lambeth Bridge. Just popped out at lunch time today and tried that other side of the river…

Looking into the City from Great Eastern Street after my trip to Shoreditch to see the Oasis Exhibition back in April. Can never get enough of the Gherkin!

Just like London buses, don’t do a lovelondonscenes post for a while then two arrive at the same time! This one is taken from Ebury Bridge, just south of Victoria station, on Friday just gone. Decided to have a walk … Continue reading

Beautiful day on the Thames. These shots are taken from Fulham, looking towards Hammersmith, at low tide. If you look background centre by the little red crane, you can see the Wembley stadium arch, some miles away.
